Is an exhibition 'module' promoting a larger exhibition at the Royal College of Art (from May 1-21, 1998). This wonder is called 'the Campaign Against Living Miserably' and is about artists creating their own personal utopias. The design mixes naively large flat areas of colour with newspaper like halftone images to suggest campaigning and protest. The idea was to create a self-contained site to promote the exhibition which could also be read as an obsessive manifesto (and hopefully artwork) in itself. The artists are presented as a list of campaigners. Type is liberally sliced up - as in a utopia you can do whatever you want. Primary fonts - Keedy Bold, VAG rounded, Helvetica Black.... More

As the site gets updated (irregularly), brilliant hopefuls like yourself can submit their cyber art & creations and get showcased in cyberspace. No longer online since this posting. Very fine! This promotional web-zine and artists forum has one of most pleasant and intuitive interfaces ever to grace the 'Thread. The content was originally supposed to be updated bimonthly making this magazine a truly worthwhile skulking ground, but actually, it was more of a promotional piece that helped launch Kioken's two lead designers into leadership of an established and still profitable firm in 2000.
