A prelude to a newly-redesigned website offers enough weird eye candy and interactive video vignettes to keep the most discerning surrealist smiling -– albeit in a twitchy, mentally-deranged sort of way. Simply put: these folks offer fine examples of twisted art. Bang Bang is still quite new, and already the client list is a who's who of big names in the entertainment industry. Most of their work is in motion graphics -- lots of nifty little films, all at their site for your viewing enjoyment. They have, however, branched out into print -- and they seem especially proud of their design for a magazine called TEASE, which they have excerpted online. That's like creating history, and we suppose that's what Charlie Company does, since they've created intros for such shows as...Celebrity Mole and Joe Schmoe. We're not quite sure what Mashinma does; we can assume that Grupo Audiovisual means that they're a firm which works in multimedia; Illustracion means they do Illustration; Print and Web mean, well, print and web. So apparently Mashinima does everything, and to prove it they have a site with no English but plenty of eerie imagery -- stone cherubs that change colors, futuristic citsycapes, flowers that bloom out of nowhere. It's one of the loveliest sites we've seen. But, um, we're still not too clear on what they're all about.... More
Addikt, based out of Amsterdam, provides 2D and 3D animation and motion graphics for websites, film, and video. They specialize in 3D mapping of environments, which results in some pretty exciting territorial animations. You can see them all on their website. Lights! Camera! Action! 2D, 3D, music, visuals, voice overs, and sound-- they do it all! While TwoThousandStrong has the strength to pump up movies, theater, song, dance, sports, and television series, their themes run slightly on the side of the macabre (quiet images, reverse lighting, dark and light contrasts) -- perfect for those National Geographic specials about lost ancient artifacts. Cisma bridges the gap between fine art and commerce with a refreshing emphasis on the former. Their concise web site employs an elegant and nearly impenetrable font. And we wish they'd lend us that giant Hammer & Tongs-ish stuffed tooth that adorns their site's illustration gallery -- that thing is freakin' cute.... More

A production company founded by Alexei Tylevich and Ben Conrad, Logan adopts the singular pseudonym in a guise similar to the various hip hop/dance music acts they identify and work steadily with.
