SoCity

SoCity is the design studio of Jesse Raker, based in NYC... as might be guessed by the range of urban and street-inspired styles. As with many print based designers, we see the portfolio is made with simple HTML and is very bare. But as a print portfolio, there's a distinct advantage to this technique: In a matter of 30 seconds, we can view the entire range of this designers' work whereas a web designer promoting his work may force you to click 3 times to see each project (sometimes it makes you truly wonder!). Anyway, the point is just this; that Jesse's work is not constrained to one style, rather, he explores a range of hip, fun, colorful and edgy styles within a larger genre of "urban design".
